[2] Selected Works (2008), Dow, 2008.
[3] complete Music for Prepared Piano, Brilliant, 2006.
[4]La Grande Illusion, Staubgold records, 2007. One of the WTM tops for 2008.
[5] Bambuso Sonoro OOO O, PAN, 1999. One of my faves for 2008.
[6] “Sprinter” on Licht-ung . 10-inch split with roving nomadic ambiences influenced no doubt by Abba. As I was playing this I could hear the rafters, loose pieces of metal I the basement studio begin to reverberate and play along.
[7] La Grande Illusion, Staubgold records, 2007. One of the WTM tops for 2008.
[8] The Summerhouse, Firework Edition, 2008. Emanations, ethereal voices recorded in Emanuel Swedenborg’s summer house.
[9] Weird
[10] Die Waldstätte CSR, 2008. Congratulations to Cyrill for being nominated for a Qwartz Award for new music
[11] Low Tide Digitals, Rune/ECM, 2001.
[12] Weird paranoid sex talk suggestions to have with your children. A kind of 50s approach with all the charming lechery. Thankx black Sifichi.
[13] Inside the Piano, Mandala, 2008.
[14] City Made of Teeth, Black Note, 2008.
[15] Frontier Life, Accretions, 2002.
[16] Bird Song, Global Journey, 2001. It’s not about bird really but the unstable human and his need to be serenaded out of despair.
[17] My Seven Deadly Sins, For the Quasi Crystals: Big Mag II, de Player, 2008 vinyl.
[18] For Birds, Planes & Cello, Solitary B, 2008.
[19] Henri Schweben is the pseudonym of Amsterdam visual artist Henri Plaat. He use HS when doing audio collages and making short films. This is some very very very very heel echt fijne comedy as he narrates a fluxus piano piece done by hitler’s gal Eva Braun. Really funny – if you understand Dutch.
Pierre-Jules Renard (Feb. 22, 1864 – May 10, 1910)  was a French socialist author and member of the Academie Goncourt, most famous for the works Poil de Carotte (Carrot hair) (1894) and Les Histoires Naturelles (Natural Histories) (1896). Among his other works are Le Plaisir de rompre (The Pleasure of Breaking) (1898) and Huit jours à la campagne (Eight Days in the Countryside) (1906).

  1. wish I could read about Henrie Schweben. George Brecht recently past away, one of the most important fluxus members, and Art in america only gave him a small obiuary/ memorial because he left to live in Germany. Fluxus the most international of movements since Dada, and the only really connected American / European I can think of of such continued activity. Stupid Art in america – they just renamed it an international review above the america, but only to jump on the art fair / biennial bandwagons.
